Hello, I’m Kamil
Welcome to my little corner of the internet.
I’m a travel photographer who loves discovering new places, getting lost in unfamiliar streets and finding moments that make a journey memorable. I have always been curious about the world. I love wandering through old European towns, standing in vast deserts and watching the sun rise over dramatic coastlines.
The Planning is Half the Adventure
For me, the excitement of a trip starts long before I reach the airport.
I genuinely enjoy planning. An evening can easily disappear while I compare flights, look at hotels and read about different neighbourhoods. Working out how to fit as much as possible into a trip is also part of the fun. At the same time, I never want a journey to feel rushed. Sometimes planning a trip is almost as enjoyable as taking it.
Google Maps has become one of my most useful travel companions. My account contains hundreds of saved places, from viewpoints and walking routes to cafés, restaurants and photography spots. Some pins remind me of places I have already visited. Others are simply waiting for the day when I finally get there.
Quite often, I look at a map and think, “I wonder what’s over there?” Many adventures have started with that exact thought.
Photography
Photography has been part of my travels for as long as I can remember.
Professionally, I specialise in architecture and interior photography. When I travel, I am drawn to landscapes, wildlife, interesting buildings and small details. These are the things that make a place feel unique. I love coming home with photographs that show more than where I have been. Ideally, they bring back the feeling of actually being there.
For years I travelled with heavy DSLR equipment. Carrying more weight than I needed eventually became tiring. Eventually, I wanted a setup that could give me excellent image quality without making every journey feel like I was carrying a suitcase on my shoulder.
These days, I use a Canon EOS R8 with a versatile 24 to 105mm lens. The setup gives me the flexibility I need for landscapes, architecture and spontaneous moments I find while exploring.
Places That Inspire Me
I have always been drawn to warm places, beautiful coastlines, vast deserts and crystal clear water. I also have a huge fascination with history, ancient civilisations and the cultures that have shaped the world.
One of my favourite things about travelling is that you never quite know what will stay with you. Sometimes it is a famous landmark that you have dreamed about for years. On other occasions, it is a quiet street, a conversation with a stranger or a meal in a tiny restaurant. It might even be a sunrise that you woke up early enough to see.
Visiting all Seven New Wonders of the World is something I am particularly proud of. Each one was completely different. Seeing them in person reminded me how much history, creativity and human achievement there is to discover.
Of course, there are still plenty of places on my list.

So far, I have been fortunate enough to visit 49 countries.

Why I Created This Blog
I created this blog because I wanted a place to bring together the two things I enjoy most: travelling and photography.
Over the years, I have collected countless photographs, stories, travel notes and lessons from the places I have visited. Rather than leaving them hidden on a hard drive or buried in my phone, I wanted a place to share them.
Here you will find travel guides, practical advice, photography tips and recommendations based on my own experiences. The blog will also cover the places I have loved, the things that surprised me and some of the mistakes I have made along the way.
Hopefully, the blog will give you some inspiration for your own travels. Whether you are planning a big adventure or looking for somewhere new to explore for a weekend, there should be something useful here.
Most of all, I hope it makes you want to get out there, take your camera with you and see a little more of the world.
